Who would said - knitting was boring to me!

Did you ever bore yourself to death with some knitting?

If do – now I know how you must have felt!

I mean, when sis asked me to knit her 1 yo son a vest I thought it should be quick baby project … alas, only the day after I casted on … I thought I was going insane of boredom!

I had serious troubles staying awake after few minutes of knitting. Not to tell that I was looking for any itty-bitty reason to put my needles aside – even for an hour! Like, „catching" girls with camera in my craft room:

Girls

(a vest was in the blue bucket, beside Lola)

Or teasing Lola with cookie, though she is still on bottle only:

Me and Lola

But, since there were no way out with vest I gathered all of my mental strenght and wore it away – yesterday was the day when I have finally had a sigh of relief.

Jaksa's vest Stitches detail

   Boring knitting – boring photoes!

But, though Jaksa came to my home this afternoon when day light was already terrible – I had quite a fun chasing him around my courtyard hoping at least one shoot will be successfull.

Imagine  my surprise finding out there are TWO almost decent ones:

Vest in action Hana and Jaksa

For those who wonder why a little dude has pink vest – ask my sis – she picked that yarn from my stash!

Forgot to say that the moment I finished the vest I embraced Squeaky B and crocheted till 2AM this morning  -  that was simply something I needed!

   Now - a little contest!

This are yarn and fabric (and pattern) for my next project.

New project

All you have to do is to guess the project and you could win Little Jar of Surprise (no, not the altered one from previous post).

To make it easier – the project can be put in Homedecor category - nothing wearable!

   Good luck!

I think that vest is cute! And so is your nephew.
Have yu checked your post office? maybe something arriving from Chile?
Your parcel contains things for Lola...and I'm praying for she gets them before she grow too much!

Lola is the sweetest! Your craft room is outstanding! Lil boys vest looks perfect and I understand you If one doesn't have some heart for knittring it is going to infinity.
Maybe you are making some knid of baskets?

Cute vest although I am not sure it is the right color for a boy, lol! Ooh are you making a Summerlin dress with the yarn and fabric or a lined bag of some sort.

is it lacy pillows lined with fabric to see through? or cafe curtains with partial knit and partial fabric?

Some knits just become boring for no reason. As to why a male has a pink vest? It's because he is sevure in his masculinity of course!

What a cute vest. And I like boys in pink sometimes. They can wear pink, too!

You bored with knitting? I don't believe it!
