Hello, happy blogging people! My days are passing so sloooooooooowwwwwly. I only didn't post yesterday, but having feeling like ages passed by! Probable reason for that is - full attic. OMG, when will they recover and leave me alone????? Franciska has ear infection! No high body temperature, no cranky moods! She totally differes from Hedera in her illness. So, if we say glass is half full, the worts has gone (if Hedera is ill my life through that several days is like fight with windmills). On the other hand Franciska is a breeze within illness - she eats, sleeps and driving me crazy like any normal day! And we were at pediatrican's yesterday! I have never liked that bitch! But, for a change, kids didn't cry! Yipi!!! And bitch tried to drive me into buying some special hair cream and shampoo for children (Hedera has something like dandruff). Right! Like I fall from the tree! But I showed my good manners and nodded my head knowing that I can solve this problem with olive oil and normal, mild kids shampoo!
But the main reason for my bitterness lays in - hubby! Can't srand him around anymore. I was sooooo happy when he went out yesterday evening ( basketball practice). And I am happy right now while he is on basketball match! And he is going to work tomorrow! Happy days are coming, people!
With kids and #&§€ husband inside I must apologize Romana for beeing late with her orders. Sorry, honey!
But this highnoon I gave last order to Ksenija (she is Romana's coworker) and can finally stop eatting myself! Happy blogging people - Twostrands hat!

Yarn: Lucija from Unitas - made in Croatia. 50/50 wool/acrylic. Great yarn! One strand is pale grey, other normal grey! Dpns 5mm. Around 150m used!
I'll be vain and say that this hat is my design. Pattern and instruction in next edition!
I am knitting, better said finishing sis lacey poncho. She really deserves this piece to be done. Sorry, sis!
OK, OK, you got me - I will have to interrupt poncho with baby vest for Vedran. But this vest will be fast knitting. I promised that vest for x-mas. But my Ana-Marija (Vedran's mom) is very patient girl (and I bought her Susanna Solo Bimbi to "buy" me some time).
All of you asking what I am going to do with sunshine yarn - I don't know. It has little more that 100g and around 550m. I guess lacey scarf! I am open to any suggestion! Be my guests!
And for conclusion - pics of my kids. See how ill they are!

OK, happy blogging people, I am tagged again! By Pioggia! I have to say 5 unusual habits of mine! Well, my whole life is pretty unusual, but I gave my best, and here there are:
1. I am ready to let my kids do anything just to leave me alone and knitting. And I mean it - they could dye my hair pink/orange/yellow and I wouldn't move my finger. (Anyone still surprized why they are spoiled?)
2. Most of attic cleaning I do when hubby is home. There are 2 reasons why: a) I prefere knitting in him absence! b) Can't let him think all those cleaning comes without saying!
3. I like sleeping alone! Only in underpants and undershirt. In very cold room, under several layers of blankets!
4. I don't like quarreling about my habits. When people are preaching me (family members mostly) about my way of life, all I do is staying quiet with inner thought like "Will they ever stop?", or "Why they are keep on trying to change me?" or "I'm too sexy for my body, too sexy for my body!" (Yes, Right Said Fred!)
5. I hate washing my face. Both in the morning and night. But human got to do, what human got to do!
I am passing this to: Shannon, Emily, Zonda. (not 5, but 3 is quite enough)
There are many more, but don't wanna frighten you!
And now - dyeing! I did it again. Because my kids were not in the kindergarten and I had to do something to stay sane. Ofcourse, I had to involve Hedera (she dyed her Barbie dress). Must say - I am more that happy with result! See for yourselves:

Could I call this yarn anything other that sunshine!

Hello! Again, I am posting very late, better said, very early, at the very beginning of a new day! That's the way I like it ; everybody sleeps, noone breathes behind my nack and I can browse other knitting ablogs after!
Thou I was going to leave Franciska home on friday (instead of going to kindergarten), she insisted on kindergarten. You don't have to beg me for that - she was there before had chanse to change her mind!
Now I was ready to go out. To purchase any knitting material. Whatever, just to get out of attic. Hubby stayed with Hedera and I was driving to Cakovec to visit my second favourite craft shop. Very little, very overloaded and very cozy (when owner's daughter doesn't work. Girl is really not interested in this bussiness). And for the first time in my life I found circular sized larger that 6mm. But they were soooo expencive! Ofcourse I bought them (8mm, 80cm). And 10mm straights (don't wanna circ to be alone). I picked 3 skeins of lovelly orange crocheting yarn:

This cuties will be for little knitted doily(doubting between this and this). My knitting spot have to be colourefully arranged!
Hedera finally stoped complaining about medicine she has to use. What a battle to swallow one little spoon. Ofcourse, hubby doesn't wanna interfere, so I am the bitch who begs, threatens, screams,... Yep, nothing better that being the mother!
I have been knitting like hell for the last two days:

I didn't get time to get off my apron! Thou, I didn't knit scarf on time - to many sick people around me.
Be that as it may, scarf is finally done:

Not yet blocked (too tired to use my iron after midnight), but I have to take pic to show Romana and Ksenija.
What about next projects? Shit, it is high time to finish sis lacey poncho. She will loose her patience! Beside that I wanna coplete Ella for my blogiversary. But Ella can wait. And lacey poncho will wait, but only for one day - must desigh Romana's plain hat. I only know I will use cables! After all, winter is such a perfect time for cables!

Sickness all around! Get me out!
Sick people here! Sick people here! And I need some air, really! I haven't seen anything but my attic space for 3 days! I can't breathe!!!!!!!!
Enough whining!
I will leave Franciska home tomorrow. I am suspicious about her health - she started coughing, and she is sleeping since she came back from kindergarten (1530). But she woke to eat(mommy's girl)! and got back:

The main difference between my two vampyres while they are sick is: Hedera refuses to eat, Franciska doesn't change her eatting habits (eatting all day long). I guess that is why Franciska is restoring her health much quicker that Hedera!
Since hubby is out of work this week, I am hoping, really hoping that Franciska will not get high boody temperature over night, so I could go to Cakovec tomorrow morning to buy some yarn and knitting needles. I need that! I need to clear my mind!
And since I am getting the biggest part in nursing my familly, hubby bought me 3 CDs with Irish music! Finally some credit!
Garter slip scarf is progressing nicelly, I still have all night to finish it. I am not sleepy since I have been napping twice today. I will make me very strong, very long instant coffee, will go to kids room and knit. But before I leave you must point out on one great scarf - Zigzag Lace scarf by Laura over at Poor Miss Finch! I love that coloure (and blue is not mine!)! And I will most definitelly knit it for one of my familly member. As soon I saw scarf I knew she would have wanted it. Sorry, can't reveal who I am talking about - she might be reading my blog!
See you tomorrow. I hope!

When MIL decides to get out out of her cave downstairs and climb my attic I always start looking for some housework to do! Not because I wanna impress her how diligent and devoted and old-fashioned I am, but 'caise this is the safest way to avoid her! Yep, happy blogging people! And the best way is to have my back toward her. So I am mostly either in kitched or bathroom. I am cleaning like hell, like I can't stand a bit of dirt,... Hoping, hubby won't get desire to call his mother often in my attic (to be honest, he is pretty much avoiding her, too). By now you are guessing MIL climbed attic yesterday! You should see my kitchen - so shinny, so clean. I have even scrubed baking dishes! Is MIL stayed 5 minutes more I would have polished wall tiles!
Hedera is sick - angina. With high body temperature. That's the reason I didn't update yesterday. Nor flash my stash! Must check what other flashed! Things like this are always interesting!
Thank you, my great blogging pals for your kind words about my mouth wounds! Here are two, on the right side:

I couldn't have taken better pic - it is pretty hard to stretch your lip with one hand and at the same time take pic with other one! Today. I am quite OK with mouth pain. But yesterday... I was devastated! So I poured in some beer and stated to churn. Instead of soothing the pain I almost fainted! But remained concious to gulp insted of spit the beer.
However, I managed to finish grey/babyblue garter stitch hat:

Romana's sis asked for a little longer one cause she has hair that has life of it own and is unbreakable (like mine in puberty - practicly through night turned from straight into curls). Matching scarf under construction. Must be finished till friday!
And now something completely different - intelligent knitting. I am telling you, that Ella pattern will stop my brain stagnation! Every row is poetry in knitting! But all that potry didn't prevent one little mistake that could have made big difference! My way of knitting almost alway slip the first stich at the beginning of the row. And almost always I have none problems with that way. But Ella is something different - I have to increase every row. So, slipping first stitch plus increasing every row plus thin cotton - tension allert! Luckilly, I realised that on time and now I am knitting first stitch at the beginning of the row. No ripping! So, here is Ella in working:

Hope I will finish her till my blogiversary (29th of january).

Thanks to my persistance to have one of 5dps in my mouth, while changing coloures (garter slip hat and scarf) I gained infection and several little wounds. So, I am on soft food now. Feeling like a baby. Come on, hubby, mash my banana!
And like it is not enough I have to sob everytime I put something in my mouth, I knitted another Newsboy hat last evening! And I am fed up with those hats.

See, how I am looking towad the sky? It is my need to be free from Newsboy's knitting. (Yes, that window really needs to be cleaned. Sorry, window, nothing before spring!)
But I really souldn't compain about Newsboy! I was crying out for the pattern. Wendy was kind enough to type it dowm and e-mail me. But waht is too much - is too much and pretty blunting!
Move on, me!
This morning I started Garter Slip hat in grey/pale blue version. For Romana's sister.

This will be quick knit. I will probably finish it by tomorrow. And then - Garter Slip matching scarf.
Seems like history is repeting! And to save myself from being bored I started (some hours ago, while kids were watching cartoons in the bed, and I was hoping they will fall asleep before cartoon ended) ELLA! Pic in next entry. Oh, forgot to say I am knitting Ella with hand dyed cotton by me. That leads me to my wish to dye something again. Maybe even this week. Must go to Cakovec to buy that cheap and very quality yarn.

0303 people! I am still up! Yes, I have been knitting! (What else?!). There is nothing like knitting in peace, with no kids and hubby breathing your neck! But wait - I wasn't alone. Who we have here:

Three cute, handsome male plus hubby! I am not ashamed of my hubby, but this ismy way of making fun of him (what are husbands for?). So, shoot me! Hairy, yes The Hairy Guy is the one necking my sissy. Guy on hubby's left is our best man and the one in green shirt is his brother (hairy guy's best man - I know, such a small world). They were playing card and I was knitting. I have been finishing not-so-secret b-day present. So, guys were good, girls are sleeping without waking and I finished Garter Slip Scarf, my pride and joy:

Romana, I am hoping you are gonna like it. I do. And talking about Romana I am more than gratefull to her for changing her mind about Newsboy hat - now she wants plain hat. And guess what - my hands are open for design! Allelujah, happy blogging people!
So, this is all for this week. Though Romana gave up Newsboy's, I will have to start Newsboy hat today - for preschool teacher Zeljka (her 3rd one!). And here is another "great" news - sis wanna 2 more - for her and her just-look-me-and-I-will-cry daughter. Now, you can shoot me for real!
P.S. Zonda - there is no coloure that can ruin the greatness of knitting! Looking for your new entry!

Revealing of mistery knitting
2 day without blogging, again! It wasn't my idea. I was on my way toward computer when hubby blocked my way! He was looking me so sweet! Kids were sleeping and I knew the true meaning of that glance. So, he wanted sex and I wanted to blog and knitting! Can we compromise? We can - we did; first sex and that pleasure for me! But I suddenly felt asleep and woke after midnight for 3 hours knitting.
But now I am all yours, happy blogging people! Thanks for your comments! I am so happy! My heart is singing!
Aloud me to show you the way to Shannon's blog! Her last entry is amazing, honest, inspiring - made me feel gooseflashes all over my body! Oh, Shannon, you got it all right!
Lots hapenned during last 2 days! Ksenija organized going to playground (the most wanted place for my knitting). Here are some pics of the place:

Like I said, Ksenija put effort to take us to playground, so I could knit without disturbace. I am talking about my secret project for Romana. Romana b-day was on tuesday, but since my hubby is still all day at home I didn't have much free time for knitting. So we went to playground. Romana came after us to bring yarn for her order of garter slip hat and matching scarf for her very pregnant sister! Since Romana had garter slip hat, Ksenija ordered matching scarf as present for b-day. I took chalenge and decided to knit this bastard in round, dpn 3,5mm. Scarf is still in progress, but will be finished soon. Very soon.

Because of knitting in round scarf progresses pretty slowly. Luckilly, yarn for another garter slip hat and scarf recquires 4mm needles!
Zonda, I wanted green coloure for my bedroom. But we didn't buy enough of green component so we got pale turquoise! More luck next time!
I didn't take pic of room before painting (didn't wanna frighten you with all that mess), but hubby took one of me painting:

And while I was painting he was making shelves. Here they are:

I am also so proud to show you my knitting spot in arising:
Spot needs lot of work, but since thing are finally moving I am full of hope!
And for conclusion of this entry let me tell you that Valentina from Memoija, who is currently living in New York City, but her parents are from Croatia, gave a birth to a beautiful baby girl Ivana (like my sis and almost half of my family - both male and female versions). Let Ivana be healthy, happy, crafty, blessed and hooked on knitting!
