Forgot to mention that acrylic yarn for Squeaky B is Teteks's Malonka from Macedonia!
Now, when fall has finally arrived (my favourite part of year) I can breathe fully since there is no single thing that can annoy me in fall! Believe me!
Somehow, I am most productive and most organized during autumn. I am even using my framed puzzles and coloureful post-its to stress my home obligations and craft orders:

And I am dealing with everything pretty quickly:

(obligations done)
Also kids are incredibly obedient and adaptable:

Plus from time to time in fall I do things usually I am escaping from – like gardening:

What I wanted to say is: I bloom in fall!
But one thing is constant during all seasons – my crafting – it never stops!

Well … let me tell you at the very beginning of this post that I am so sorry if I disappoin you.
Reading you comments I realised two things: a) you have pretty high hopes about me and b) I must have sounded way too excited and thrilled about „secret not to tell“.
First, thank you so much for sharing my enthusiasm. You are great, happy blogging people, but time to face the truth – my „secret“ is very down-to-earth type of things.
All started last week when I bought 5 hanks of acrylic yarn in my favourite LYS:

When I entered that YS I knew I needed yarn for special project and that yarn had to be acrylic.
Why?
Because I had big, big, big project in my mind and money situation allowed acrylic only (plus I was affraid I could waste good yarn on something I didn't know it would turn out).
I winded hanks, took my 3mm hook and started!

I was very excited before starting the project, but once I was actualy crocheting 404 stitched per row – my trance was growing.
Words can't decribe it – you could only understand by looking at my heart (but stay away from my brain since there is total mess there).
Butterflies in my belly, I am telling you!

Not even the squeaky sound of yarn interacting with hook didn't make me sober! And I mean – it squeaks like hell!
But if you think this is scarf – you are so wrong! It might looks like a one but in matter of fact this is a blankie for me:

I am crocketing 5-coloures blankie for my only ME!
And this blankie is not an usual blankie – don't disparage my blankie in making! Don't compare it with high-quility-wool blankies!
My blankie is acrylic treasure, my reason to stay awake way after midnight, to wake up with smile and to make my heart beat faster!
And please – call it Squeaky Blankie! For friends - Squeaky B!

P.S. If you see me wandering around with my Squeaky Blankie – don't disturb me – I am having the time of my life!
P.S. II Pattern can be found here.

I have a secret not to share!
I am soooo excited!
Totally excited!
I am overwhelmed with feelings so warm I can't decribe!
Unfortunatelly, at this moment I can't tell you what it's all about (no, I am not pregnant), but please be patient with me and my better-than-sex-mood and in next post you'll fond out everything!
Now, since I have my head over heels right now it is pretty hard to stay focused on this entry since my heart and thoughts are in next one. But let me try say something congruously.
First, thanks for all kind and well-appreciated scomments on Lola's Blessing dress! I was in heaven reading them! Ooooh, you are great, happy blogging people!
Second, I have finished socks!!!!!!!

Boy, it took me almost two years to start new pair and now when they are knitted – I gave them to my dear friend Kika!
Loser? Me? NOOOOOOOOO! I mean, she said she liked it (after I finished first one), I asked her if she wanted them, she replied „yes“ and I said „OK“!

Can't be simplied!
All that confirms my deepest fears that I am incapable to keep my knitwear to myself (scarves are exceptions).
But one thing is sure – that next project – the one I selfishly keep to myself – most definitely will stay in my custody. I am 273654% sure!
P.S. while many around are preparing (canning) fruits and vegetables for upcoming winter, I used glass jars to put some of my craft stuff in order, like zippers and elasticas:

For some time during this week, couch in the living room was the best friend with my butt:

Since I used every single moment to finish Lola's dress for her Saturday blessing. And I finished it on time – to be precise at 2:30AM on Saturday! So I „reward“ myselw with homemade mead andwent to bed exhausted but merry!
Blessing dress front:

Blessing dress back:

Sleeve dateil:

Bottom of the dress detail:

Lola in her dress before going to church:

And blessing itself:

Dress is my design and makes me so proud!
If anyone wonders why I used darkorange buttons and variagate orange crocheted flowers – here is the truth: I accidentaly transfered hairdye while it was on my hair so I had to camouflage a spot! (One spot, but there are three flowers - didn't wanna make camouflage way too obvious)
Lesson learned: no knitting and hairdyeing at the same time!
I am totally exhausted, happy blogging people, since I had full house yesterday and I can't feel my feet, so I am going to bed right now!
Oh, totally forgot - Lola turned four months today!

When I was young I used to see many words/objects in particular coloure! Human's name specially (example: Zoran is purple, Josip is yellow, Sandra is red, Gordana is darkgreen …).
I could even connect some sounds to a coloure.
Basically, my inner world was very coloureful which explains why I love coloures as much as why I am coloureblind!
Though I can „see" almost every name through coloure, I can coloure only few months in one year: april is skyblue, january is white, may is red, august is brown and september is yellow!
So, this is my yellow tribute to yellow september with few of my yellow stuff:

(also you can see one sock is down, second one in making)
Meanwhile new school year has started yesterday – finally I say!
Forgot to take pics yesterday but this morning it looked like this:

(a minute before leaving home – girls and Hedera's schoolmate Lucija)

(off to school)
Yes, Franciska is first grader and so far she only wanna now if she has to go to school every day and why she couldn't stay in kindergarten!
Two elder are schoolgirls now and the youngest one:

is waiting for her Saturday blessing.
Since I am creative one in my attic I decided to knit Lola little while dress, so I took the gauge:

And after one sleepless night we have this:

Hope it'll be finished by Saturday!

... that it is much wiser to take kid to the hairdresser's, cause she knows how to cut my kid's hair properly!

... once you start learning crocheting there is no end to it! Thanks to Sarah London's blog I am learning her mistery motives every month! Mistry ones from previous month were Hawaiian Flowers:

... how to crochet circular doily with no gaps at all - seamless and symmetrical ! Thanks to Sarah London also:

(tutorial here)
... that fresh flowers and coloureful doily go great together :

Specially on a rainy day:

What did you learn lately?

It is great to come back home and enjoy my craft room.
It is not great to come back from vacation with running nose and allergy for the first time in life (that probably indicates on my weakened immune system).
But, since I was nagging about returning from Adriatic Sea – I am not gonna complain again!
Two days ago I finally went to out local church and „register“ Lola for Blessing (12th of septempber). Hedera and Franciska's godmothers are sisters and my friends also, and today they came from town of Virovitica for Spancirfest and used chance to meet with us!
Martina is older sis and she was Hedera's godmother and soon Lola's also:

Jasna is younger sis so she was Franciska's godmother:

We spent cheerful afternoon and we can't wait to have them in our house within less than two weeks!
But let's get back to knitting world – see, happy blogging people after almost two years of abstinence I have (finally) casted on for my sock. To be honest when I took sockyarn from my stash:

(it is never too early to start gathering with yarn, right!)
I didn't think there would be so many stripes:

After I completed first set of stripes few adjectives came into my mind: juicy, fresh, childish, fruity, fallish, coloureblind … but the biggest discovery happened when I took a gander on my toes and realised this sock was perfect match to my nailpolished toes:

(like anyone will see it once socks are completed)

Problems here, problems there!
Finally! Yeah, finally this summer vacation is coming to its end! Drinks for everybody!
Don't wanna sound ungrateful, but I not enjoying sea and sun much as anyone would expect. Sorry, but my home is the best and my craftroom is priceless!
Oki-doki, now I can move on.
Though I had new pair of socks on my mind this vacation – I didn't even cast-on! But, unlike many years before – I worked on more than 1 project!
After finishing Boucle scarf I continued work on Oriel Lace Stole. So far I did 2/3! Yipi!!!!!

But, for a short period of time I had to hold on my horses 'cause I noticed this:

If you are not seeing what I am trying to point out – here is close up:

Oh yeah!
And, believe or not – those two skeins are from the same dye lot! (OK, I bought it on some ultra sale so I was supposed to expect some „difficulties“)
The solutions to the problem: since it is pure cotton – I'm gonna dye it after the stole is finished!
I'm so smart!
Among other news – hubby shortened my hair! Now I am almost bold and boy-ish (he nagged for days to cut my hair and after he was done my suspicions that he is gay are now stronger).
But I had to give him credit for skill:

Little bragging: I bought me great handmade bracelet and matching nailpolish:

And now big, big announcement – Hedera turned 9 today!

Happy b-day, my dear blood-sucking girl! Mommy is so scared of your puberty!

Fleece artist's boucle scarf
Today was HOT! Not a puff! So hot that almost melted all of my fat! Heehee! Thank you FIL for installing an air condition! We love you! (thanks also for dishwasher here)!
Now, after my solo thankses – let me show you boucle scarf I completed on 14th of august! Here is little beauty soaking:

After relaxing levander bath I blocked it on Hedera's bed. Next morning scarf, Franciska, Lola and I had photo session!
Here is Franciska stretching boucle scarf:

and wearing it around her shoulders:

Then I handed camera over Franciska and she took me unprepared:

After she insisted on taking some photos totaly not related to scarf, camera came back into my hands:

A scarf out of Fleece Artist yarn (thank you Jody) under Lola's feet!

Little bit of memory lane!
After first three days of nagging and trying to find time to swim – all 8 (5 kids and 3 grown-ups) of us finally organized and there is always someone to take care of Lola for half an hour of morning and afternoon swimming!
WAVE!
Tomorrow hubby will join us but his cousin and her family will leave (their payed vacation ends). All in all those 8 days passed quickly and I already miss my craft room – so I am honestly hoping we won't be here more than another 7 days!
Also, I would rather spend this time somewhere in mountains that by the sea! (no, this is not nagging)!
FIL's girlfriend were cooking for all 8, well 7 (since Lola is bottle fed) and she cooks delicious! Look what we were enjoying every single day:

She is leaving on Monday. Sigh!
Great eatting is good combination with some knitting (interrupted with SMS from Jana), happy blogging people!

And though this year I didn't bring like 10 projects with me 'cause it finally came to me that I have never finished more than 1 – all those so far 9 days I've been working on boucle scarf:

On pic above scarf is in making, but I finished it yesterday. Proper pic of it after blocking!
And now something non-knitting related – Lola turned 3 months on 13th! Time flies! Like it was yesterday when she was just born:

Then a month old:

And she is already 3 months:

And even after those 3 months I am acting like over-melting Mom:

See you within few days with big smooch from Lola:
