Everyone is talking about x-mas and december as the greatest part of the year! Please stop! I mean, don't we exaggerate? My kids specially! For those two blood-sucking bustards december is a month when money falls from sky and their every wish must be fulfilled! I know, you are gonna blame me for that, 'cause I should have thought them differently! NOOOOO! It is not my fault! No way! I don't even like shopping! I don't like bought gifts! But the most of all I hate when I spend some time trying to find special gift for someone and that someone doesn't even make itself smile like he/she cares!
Damn!
And guess what hubby did this week? Yes, he charged me with x-mas presents! Hallellujah! Hate you, hubby!
And like hubby's decision wasn't enough – I was also elected to present parents in Hedera's class just because I am housewife and don't work in shifts and has spare time in the evenings! Great!
Now back to knitting! I finished garter hat/scarf set for a client who recently became a Mom for the second time. As Jana said: «The simpliest solutions are the best!»

Also I am in Ravelry and you can find me under Ranilt!
OK,must go – new hat/scarf set is waiting to be knitted!

Yet another yellow button (4 in matter of fact)
Sometimes I am totally lazy and have nothing to write about, so I am stretching time between two posts, or am writing about my kids like I care about them!
Sometimes I am totally productive and must stretch my craft onto two posts, just like I wanted yesterday, but … my stationary phone collapsed – therefore I was without internet connection!
We called our phone Service for customers once – and nothing happened! So I called the same Service this morning ('cause I was falling into net-abstinence crisis), and while waiting for Operator I really understood fot the first time in my life that phrase «Who do I have to fuck to get my phone done?» has sence!
Luckilly for the operator Pero (that how he named himself), sex never happened, but 10 minutes later I was connected!
OK, back to crafting business!
SWAP scarf was finished two nights ago, and on thursday morning we (me and voices in my head) had a blocking party:

Foam puzzles rock! I don't know how I would block without them!
Yesterday – scarf was ready to be sent:
(but will be sent on monday – after all PO is only 3 minutes away walking – so I am having something like mental preparation)
While scarf was pinned on foam – I got another case of «wire, wire, more wire» and decided to make window wreth (like the one I saw few days ago – but forgot to save link – shame on me)! Luckilly, PMS time was over so at the end nothing turned out neurotic:

And in its full glory on the window:

Maybe some of you noticed yellow button – yes, another post and work with yellow button (I have almost million of those).
But wait – there are more of those yellow buttons (I am telling you – you can put them anywhere) – from fabric leftovers and wire (looks like my new addiction) I made two flowers, gathered them with wire and new ornament was born:

On pic on right, in bottom right corner you can see my secret place for smoking (yes, I do that!).
On monday Hedera will take fabric flower to school to put it into plant pot!
I have more things to show, but will leave it for next post! But this is not the end my friends – my little dragonfly Judy knitted her daughter great beanie, like one girl saw in store, and now Judy is knitting the beannies for all of Katie's girlfriends! Judy also write down the pattern, and if you wanna quick knitting – maybe a suggestion for x-mas present – here is the link! Enjoy!

I am having a major case of PMS! All I really wanna do now is - TO BE LEFT ALONE! But that is mission impossible with family! So instaed I am biting, screaming and feeling like grumpy middle aged woman!
But, crafting is always more than good asylum!
So latelly I've been doing some fabric printing, knitting and . . . trying to deal with wire! See, I was browsing WWW little bit trying to find simple pics of angels – when I saw one made of wire! Looked like I could have dome it … Well, at least I tried it and here is the result – a bit nervous and neurotic (just like I feel these days), but she is my only comfort latelly:

Well, I'm off – have some screaming to do!

Happy blogging people, can I tell few words into my hubby's defend? Please!!!!
See, he is solid guy, who works hard and takes great care of girls and me! I must admit that he pretty much black and white kind of person, that his spirit is totally unfree, but he is what he is and noone forced me into this marriage!
He is quite OK, and you all know I like joking so don't take notes about my hubby way to seriously! I only wish he could be more relaxed and easy going!
Nothing more!
Sue, Hana is my niece and she went out of hospital yeasterday! She is getting better with dermatitis and lots of alergies, but looks like she will have to take big care through all oh her life, and that's the bummer!
I visited her on tuesday and promised her ice-cream party when she comes home! Also gave her a cotton skirt!
On attic front – hubby will pay me a hand massage! Can't wait!
Franciska is constipating! Bummer! I did my best, but eventually had to go to farmacy's and buy one of those glycerin corky thing I put in her … you know where!
Yesterday morning, just before my first cup of extra strong sugarless coffee, I went to check girls and scene mollyfe me:

They are so cute! And all cuteness broke after they started fighting as soon as woke up!
I showed SWAP scarf I received, and it was my turn to knit one for my SWAP pal! I planned to do Cinnabar, but suddently decided to go with:

Pattern here!
Somehow, after first repeat of scarf pattern, out of blue I decided to knit me a beret! Urchin, to be precise!
See, Urchin is great pattern, but since I didn't have yarn for 7mm needles … I took very softly yarn for 5mm , casted on 30 sts and …

But:

Yes, you don't have to be genious to see the Urchin is too small for my head and it is high time for me to do sideburns waxing!

(This entry was written and posted on saturday, but blogdrive was giving my post hard time and didn't wanna show it)
Two days ago I was resting in bed with alien hubby, when suddenly he told me he was gonna take another life insurance on me!
Asked why and he replied: «I have feeling you are gonna drop dead soon!»
Well, looks like abduction has some side effects! And here is the most recet one – yesterday he said: «You are not good looking, you are not a catch, you're not atractive … really don't know why I'm in love with you!»
Heaven help me! I'm gonna smack his head!
But as long as he supports my creatine activities – I can cope with everything! Even bullshits!
So look how Hana's skirt turned out:

It was quick knits, but I prolonged due to accommodation to new, alien hubby!
Well, bad news is – Hana is in hospital, away from her home, 'cuase this kid has some serious skin problems and doctors didn't wanna risk! Hana is OK, my sis is with her all day, but kid is alone during nights, so I had to please Franciska to pose and somehowe I managed to take one (almost) decent pic:

It is easier to fing 4 leaves clover in desert than catch Franciska standing still!
And now some knitting for me! Elly-b organised little SCARF SWAP for croatian speaking gals and yesterday I got mine:

Problem is I don't know who is the sender and why oh why she just wrote «Vesna»! People in Croatia are soooo shy!
Now, it is time for me to start scarf for my SWAP gal!

Abduction by Aliens is good!
I had this post ready in my head from saturday, but since I fainted … had to postpone!
See, in the beginning of this blog I was hiding from hubby 'cause he couldn't bare the idea of me knitting! A year after he admited my need for knitting/crafting, but he couldn't have sex with me if he saw me with needles, yarn, stitch markers …
But something BIG happened this saturday! To cut long story short I'll quote him: «Duffy, I'm supporting your knitting (at that moment my knees started to tremble)! In matter of fact I support your craft side (was pretty close to burst in tears)! I am supporting your future intent to open your own craft business!»
After that I knocked down! Couldn't breath! Couldn't speak! Nor knitting! Nor do anything that requires my hands – therefore nor writing!
Now note to aliens that took my real hubby and gave me that surogat: «Do not, please DO NOT turn real hubby back! I am more than please with replacement!»
And to celebrate hubby's new perspective on my needs – I dyed my hair:

Hubby said I was cute! And he said he was gonna buy me high heel shoes! And new coat! And he said I could buy new yarn (without hiding)!
Somebody pinch me!
But before I fainted that saturday – I was knitting a skirt for sis's brat Hana:

Skirt is totally inspired with cotton stria stripes hats and is total pleasure to knit!
Primar intention was to do 1/1 ribing with eyelets for waist, but since I never did folded hem – there was a chance! After all, putting elastica into hem is much better for kid:

Fingers crosses for skirt to be finished till next entry!
Before saying you «till next time» here are some beads I bought in Bjelovar:

And some buttons (Tina, turn your glance away):

I am turning into adict!

Made mistake following my notes!
I was following my notes on «Elegant Ribbed Stoskings» (socks in my case), and no matter how much I payed attention – I made mistake! Can you see it?
Oh, yeah! The leg lengths are not identical!
Where did I go wrong? Well, I noted down 3 repeats of stitch pattern, though I did 4 with sock nr1!
When started working sock nr2 all I used as guiding line was – my notes!
If you wonder whether I will leave it that way or rip it – ofcourse I'm not gonna rip it! Those socks will be worn under my trousers so why bother! Life is beautiful and short for ripping!
And if I cross my knuckles – noone will know:

I am always for simple solutions!
Now about some craft supplies I purchased! I can't resist yarn, threads, buttons … anything related to carf! Also like buying magazines, but latelly I am investing into craft books! And since my kids prefere bought stuff (sniff, sniff) I will put into my last will to bury me with all pf my stuff – sewing machine including!
Here are some lovelly baby blue yarn for shrug for me (finger crossed noone takes it from me – since you know I can't resist people who wanna have my knitted items for free):

But some 10 minutes before I was gonna buy that yarn – Hedera asked me to buy «lovelly cotton fabric for her pillowcase». Are you surprised with her coloure choice?

Yeah, I knew you were not!
And something bought while I was killing 70 minutes before I had to pick up Hedera from dance class – I mean it is better to buy yarn for Newsboy Hat:

and some ribbon with elastica:

than go into Bar alone and sip CherryBrandy!
Right?

Happy blogging people, this entry was supposed to be written on wednesday, but even if I uploaded pics – I had to leave it unwritten because I was in hurry to get to my parents' before dark and yada, yada, yada… I am writing it 4 days later!
So, let me start with an inspiration! Not so ong ago I saw something interestring on Jessica's blog and one morning while Franciska begged her way to stay out of kindergarte for that day – I did my personal fabric panel ornament!

Well, it would be better if I had proper cicle not some disformed circle form …

but, hei I like it! Specially those green stitches I saw in one of my books:

Also had an idea of crocheted flowers:

attached to future fabric bags, but gave up an idea – now I am thinking of printed flowers! Will see, don't know yet!
And now, happy blogging people, something big, big, big! At least big for me – after many, many, many short-row heels on my so socks – I have finally gathered all of my courage and turned the heel:

OMG, I felt like a queen after figured it out!!!!!!!!!!!!

Veronica, those socks are from my latest books order – «Favorite socks» - pattern is «Elegant Ribbed Stockings» (will send you stitch pattern in e-mail).
Now, both socks are comleted while staying in Bjelovar, but I am waiting for a daylight!
And just before my leave I got my parcell from Linn: alpaca and alpaca leftovers:
Plus some cute buttons:

See in a day or two!

Last night, at 2300 exactly I have finished my longest UFO!!!!! It took me «only» 7 months and 10 days, but the moment I've woven last ends – I sent SMS to Judy to report that Little Dragonfly Socks (also known as «Judy» as much as secret project of mine) are FINISHED!!!!!!!
Also couldn't wait for morning to come, so I put my new socks on and was sleeping like baby! But the moment Sun showed I was on my window taking pics.
- The very first snap:

- Foot to foot:

- Three-needles-bind off:

- Sleepers love them:

- Sneakers too:

And that's all from me! I am about to start another pair!

Finally FO that is not hat!
Almost everyone is sick in my attic! Everybody but Hedera, and I am hoping she'll stay out of «trouble» due to her school obligations!
I can deal with seckness, but what I hate is – vomiting! And Francika has been vomiting for two days! Now she is OK, she insisted to go to kindergarten today, but this morning hubby turned sick and there is no worst patinent but hubby – it is sooo hard to explain him that virosis in his case IS NOT lethal! Also, her is pic of him (on his recquest):

Now, no matter about sick people around me (including me also) I have FO!!!!!!!!!!
Clue 1:

Clue 2:

And in action:

Sorry about sucking pic, but sick hubby took it! Well, the moment Hedera came back from school I made her model for Montego Bay Scarf:
Also, please notice the painted butterfly on her undershirt I did few months ago! She likes wearing that undershirt, which makes me a proud crafter (and mother occasionally)!
From leftovers of Montego BS yarn (Stacey gave me) I did a hair clip for niece Hana:

Have enought for one more!
And now something completelly different – 4 books I ordered two months ago have landed!
(Happy dance! Happy dance!)
Look, happy blogging people:
(Happy dance! Happy dance!)
Look again:
(Estatic dance! Estatic dance!)
And now, Judy, I am turning to Judy socks and your blog!
