On Monday Franciska didn't return from school. Hedera and I were waiting for her. As minutes were passing by (we are like 8 minutes from school afoot) my anxiety was increasing. At certain point I put Lola and Hedera in the car and started looking for her around village. Went to school to her teacher. Went to grocery shop. After 15 minutes we went home – and Franciska was there at out doorstep! Like nothing happened! I lost 5 years of my life! I wanted to slam her down and beat the hell out of her! But I was so happy seeing her standing there. And I couldn't move! All I felt at the end was huge headache. Franciska is hard to understand. She has to be expirienced – only then you can come to some conclusion. She has some sort of attention deficiency, also is pretty hyperactive, she can make me so angry I can't recognize myself … but at the same time she is probably the sweetest and most inocent child I've ever met! She also loves everything I knit for her and she wears it proudly. And my latest knitwear for her was bulky scarf from soft acrylic yarn I got from Diana: I think I've never knitted bulky item before! And this scarf reminds me of tire tracks: Also – one pic I forgot po put in one of previous posts – Franciska fell asleep among Lola's clothes (now Lola has her own wardrobe and bed is easier to approach to) The same day Franciska gave me headache – I received a package from Paula. We arranged little swap 2 years ago, but my parcele was little late. In this post only few things from the package since I have sick Hedera in the house, Lola with running nose and hubby who is never present! (call me single Mom). Cotton fabric leftover (I already have great idea of its use): Two crocheting/knitting magazines (watch out cute blanket and vest): And one (of two) onesie: Yes, Lola is giant baby! Just ask my back! P.S. I also received great yarn from Paula (pic sin next post), one leather coin purse and girls stickers! We love you Paula!!!!!!! |

| Diana October 30, 2009 11:31 AM PDT Franciska je preslatka! Podsjeca me na moju Anu.
| misha October 30, 2009 09:04 AM PDT I can only imagine what you went through looking for her and not finding her! Glad everything is ok. The scarf looks very soft and squishy. Lola is growing so fast and she looks so mature! The 'find Franciska' photo really made me laugh - hilarious! | ||
